KAY CONTEMPORAY ART announces, Illumination, an exhibition celebrating glass artist Steve Hagan and watercolor painter Susan Pasquarelli. Steve Hagans’ enchanting glass sculptures seem to capture light itself while Susan Pasquarelli’s watercolors glow with subtle graduations of color.

Susan Pasquarelli is a master of her medium and has been working with watercolor for over 40 years. As you look at her work you can see what a steady hand she has in such a unforgiving medium. Her subtle gradations of color resembles intense light waves that captivate the audience. Vivid hues and soft jewel tones marry to make unique and singular vision.

Steven Hagan is a glass artist, foodie, and proponent of pure beauty. His work combines a love of function with modern form and design, while creating a mix of both vessels and citrus inspired sculpture. Over the past 20+ years he has worked in university, private and public access glass studios as an artist, fabricator, designer and educator. Recognized nationally and internationally for his exquisite murrini patterns, he currently resides in Tucson, AX working as a studio artist
